 Has Santa promised you a new paint box for Christmas? just because you said you were good at art at school! a million years ago, now instead of watching golf or whatever, you will be expected to turn out masterpieces on the kitchen table. Help how do I start? and lots of other questions.
I'm supposed to be able to paint a bit but I don't know all the answers, in fact after painting all my life it just seems to get harder. so with thanks to AH for setting all this up lets have your questions, comments and observations on art in general.

Good move Alec I needed some information recently on Minolta film lenses compatibility with the new Sony 700 DSLR, found the answer on a chat line but things got very technical.
Any expert photographers out there?
